Tea Lessons

The Association offers tea lessons to its members at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Classes are taught by qualified instructors and are held at the Washin'an tea room. 

If you are interested in taking tea lessons, please visit the Sign Up page to first register as an association member. When registering, if you indicate that you are interested in taking lessons, you will be contacted by the instructors.


Class Schedule

Typically, students will attend one class per week. Students are free to switch between class options from week to week to suit their schedule.

Morning Class
Tuesday 10:30 – 13:30 (the 1st and 3rd of the month)
Wednesday 10:30 – 13:30 (three times a month)
Friday 10:30 – 13:30 (the 2nd and 4th of the month)
Saturday 10:00 – 13:00 (three times a month)

Afternoon Class
Wednesday 13:30 – 16:30 (three times a month)

Night Class
Wednesday 18:00 – 21:00 (three times a month)
Thursday 18:00 – 21:00 (three times a month)

Payment

Fees are $25/lesson for students and $35/lesson for others. You may purchase five (5) lessons for $165, which must be taken within a three month period. Alternately, you may purchase eleven (11) lessons for $350, which must be taken within a six month period. Payment can be made by cash or check at the time of your first lesson.
