Membership

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Chado Urasenke Tankokai Washington, DC Association, please visit the Sign Up page.

Student Membership $30/year

Full-time academic students qualify for this category. A student member has all of the same benefits as an individual member.

Individual Membership $40/year

Individual members are eligible to take tea ceremony lessons, attend all Association events, and have one (1) vote on Association matters.

Plus-One Membership   $60/year

One individual member plus one family member of the same household are eligible to take Chado lessons, attend all Association events, but are limited to one(1) vote on Association matters.

Family Membership $80/year

One individual member and his/her family members of the same household enjoy the same benefits as individual members but are limited to one (1) vote on Association matters.

Corporate/Institutional Membership $200/year

Employees of the organization are covered under this membership (maximum 7 members total). Each corporate/institutional member has the same benefits as an individual member. The organization shall designate an employee liaison. This liaison will represent the organization with one (1) vote on association matters.
